It is truly an art to capture these special fleeting moments that we will treasure
— Rebecca & Nick

Rebecca & Nick’s autumn wedding was held at the Raeburn in Edinburgh. I know them both well from mutual friends weddings I’d photographed previously. This time it was Becci & Nick’s turns to play the main roles with some familiar faces amongst the guests. On the wedding day I went to see Nick who was getting ready at his house with his best man. Already suited and booted, they relaxed by having a favourite from Nicks whisky collection (the ‘water of life’ is better in Scotland than it is in Evian).

Soon after I joined Becci back at the Raeburn who was preparing with baby Frank and her bridal party. Nick & Becci celebrated a humanist ceremony which included a naming ceremony for baby Frank. Part of this was the naming of his gold-parents as well. It was a very meaningful and personal ceremony by the celebrant Candice the humanist. A lot of tears and smiles, and Frank looked the part in his little batman costume. A real little superhero.

Becci and Nicks wedding was a day full of good feeling and I feel privelidged to have been invited to photograph it.

Here are some favourite moments from Becci, Nick and baby Franks very special day.
